Expect a Summer full of fun with Pokemon GO!
Niantic has recently announced that there will be plenty of things for Pokemon GO players to do this summer. That is thanks to the Pokemon GO Summer 2018 Tour! These events range from the return of Pokemon GO Fest to new Safari Zone events!
Pokemon GO Fest will return and this time it will be bigger then ever! Trainers from around the world will gather in Chicago, Illinois on July 14 to July 15. You will be able to take a walk in the park thanks to Pokémon GO Fest 2018: A Walk in the Park.
Trainers can enjoy the 1.8 mile walking course to catch plenty of Pokemon and enjoy several activities. Passes for the event will go on sale starting May 11th and will cost $20 dollars. At this moment, those who purchase a pass will be only able to attend just one day of Pokemon GO Fest. This is to allow the most players to take part of the event as possible. There will also be several Safari Zone events for players around the world to take part in! The next Safari Zone event will be located in Dortmund, Germany from June 30 to July 1 in Westfalenpark. The park has allow trainers to capture several Pokemon. Not only that but the whole city will be taking part in the Safari Zone. You can read more details about Dortmund Safari Zone by clicking here. Niantic is promising more Safari Zone events in locations such as Asia.
If you can’t make it to any of these events then do not worry! Pokemon GO will have plenty for players to do during the Summer! There will be Community Day events such as the Charmander event that will be happening this month. Plus plenty of community and civil events! So keep an eye out!
