You may know that the Johto Region is based on the Kansai region of Japan. Though, you may not know how deep this is ingrained into the games of the Second Generation. No stone was left behind as Game Freak worked on building what would be the Johto Region. If it existed in Kansai then it got placed into Johto.

That includes the Ruins of Alph.

How could such a mysterious and magical place even exist in the real world? What could be the real life connection these fictional ruins could ever have?

That is exactly what BlueBoyPhin is covering in his latest series. They have traveled to Japan as part of their research and visiting the real life sights of Johto. Starting with the Ruins of Alph.

Join BlueBoyPhin as they discovers the very ruins that were used as the blueprint for the Ruins of Alph. How everything there exist in the real world locations of Kansai. From the Pokemon that can be found in Ruins of Alph, the sliding puzzles and even the Unown. All of it exist in the real world.
