As much as I love Emolga, I'm not sure if I'd want to get a tattoo of one. On one hand, it would be cool to have a depiction of one go with me wherever I go, though. But... I'm not sure if it's the kind of thing I'd still want around when I'm 85 or so.
Though I have seen some people get tattoos that I KNOW they're going to regret later on in life.
I could never get a tattoo. Firstly I hate needles and secondly there's nothing I would want drawn on me forever and ever. NOT EVEN A BULBASAUR! :/
Yeah I couldn't stand it to get a tattoo. Much less it's not for me anyway.

If I were to get a tattoo, it would probably be something more neutral. Maybe like a dragon or a wolf or something like that. Nothing too wild or out of the ordinary, but maybe it's better that way.
I would definitely be VERY wary of getting anything with Chinese/Japanese characters though. I've heard of way too many stories where what people got tattooed on them didn't mean what they thought it did...
Oh yeah that's like a big no no. A good example of what I'm talking about is I'd get like one of the Phantasms from the Fate series. I could easily play it off as "oh it's just a reference to the legend" but anyone who has watched the fate series would know immediately that it was a Phantasm.
I guess the other thing is that if you do find something you want a tattoo of, definitely pay the extra money for a really good, tried and true tattoo artist. That's the other thing I've seen too much of. Cheap-looking tattoos from cheap artists.
I wouldn't get anything with a lot of color either. I've heard that fades quickly. If you get anything, make sure it'll still look good even with only black outlines (unless black outlines is all you get in the first place).
