So I've seen this on multiple other forums, and I was wondering if we could do it here too. Do what you ask? This!



This simple little userbar thing that can be displayed under the members avatars to show your rank with a nice little graphic. I made examples for all of them:

Banned Member:

Moderator:


Senior Moderator:

Editor in Chief:

So what do you guys think?

I love your examples and was thinking about this as well. And what about ranks from normal members depending on post count.

We were talking about this during planning, and I know it was rejected. If I remember correctly, it was because they look would look very strange on our forum and the majority said no.

I don't see how it would be out of place. If it sits under the avatar where the title is, it would be fine. :] I think we should have something cooler than sprites...even something like the Conquest sprites worked into it, since they're super awesome and quite good to look at.

I like rank icons, but many of our staff have multiple positions so that's mostly why we went with simple text, so all positions can be displayed at once. I'm not sure how that would work with rank icons/buttons unless they were quite small...
