Having worn glasses for more than half my life now, I don't think I could wear contact lenses now, since I'm so used to wearing regular glasses. Though with the way my lens have been getting thicker, I don't know it they could even make them anyway :P

Also, I told myself I wasn't going to buy anything in the Steam winter sale. I almost made it...

Armello is awesome. Very, very fun game, although trying to get into a multiplayer game has been a bit tricky.

I like playing Twiss, but many of the other characters are also a lot of fun.

That being said, unless my vision was really really bad is rather just wear glasses I think. xD

Coloured contacts are awesome. I feel like they would make me not look like myself though xD I dunno...
I couldn't doncomtacts if I even tried hard xD. I literally can't touch my eyes directly. Much less pull out the lens when it was time.

Yeah it's scary even lookin at the form you have to sign beforehand showing all the risks that could've involved. My brother explained to me what all they did and yeah.

For safety of those that don't want to hear...
    Spoiler:
They tape you eyelids up (down) so you can't blink and they have a better shot at the eye itself. Then place that cup looking thing on your eye (and that's where you'll feel the most pressure. My brother explained it where he had pressed it against his eye and felt a bit more pressure than he though, but no pain because of the drops they gave him) and he lost is sight in that eye for awhile. Then it made a noise and went from left to right (or right to left) over his eye as the doctor told him to hold his eye very still. That's where it takes off the first layer so the doctor has access to the area that gets the Lasik. He took it off and told him look at the little light straight ahead and hold his eye still. It made a sound going off a few seconds then shut it off, out the layer over the eye back down, took off the tape and bam. Done with that one. Then repeat with the other.

It's just rest for the rest of the day after that and a week of drops and wearing special goggle while you sleep at night so you don't accidentally rub your eyes overnight

They'll be touching them even briefly so the more information I can get the better.

Yeah it'll probably end up like my brother's. He was worn out and tired. Vision was blurry the rest of the day and slowly recovered, but the next day he could see really wel! He's at 20/20, within hours 20/15, but the next day he was like 20/12. Though he says one eye is better than the other. It's becoming noticeable. Either way, glad to hear it went well! Just make sure to use those eye drops they gave you can such. It's a pain, but more than worth the end result if it corrects your eyesight
It's.... weird. Uh, how to describe it. Well, I should first say that the doctors said my eyes are deeper set than the average patient and I forgot to take pain medicine before the surgery like they recommended. So I was put through more pressure and pain than the average patient. But overall it wasn't all that bad. The hardest part was staying still but they gave me stress balls and had someone reminding me to breathe and keeping me calm through the whole procedure. I think had I actually remembered to take my medicine I would not have felt a thing.

Following the surgery my eyes have been a bit irritated (I keep instinctively trying to rub them but the glasses they gave me prevent it thank the lord). But they said that's just how it's going to be for a while and that it'll ease with time. I can see fairly well right now and it's only been a day. They said the more I sleep and rest the faster my eyes will heal. Problem is I'm not one to get tired easily so this whole constantly sleeping thing is not easy for me. As for one eye being better than the other, I think that's normal in most people. We all have a dominant eye so one eye is going to be stronger than the other.

Whoa whoa whoa, tape? Nah man that's not what they used on me. My eyes were held open by that cup thing but that might be because of how my eyes are deepset. But when you lose your eyesight for a while it feels like you're asleep. It's trippy. Cause then you start seeing like blurred colors and they're like "focus on the green" but it's like there's green everywhere along with some red and then sometimes you can't see anything. I legit felt like I was on an acid trip or something. It was mildly entertaining actually except for the fact that I was terrified the whole time.

It wasn't PRK you went through then was it? There's a few different versions and I know that PRK is the more intense version they use. That is what I heard yeah. You get the checks first to see if you are a good candidate then by that they decide on how they would need to go about the procedure and what's best for you. See that's a little thing that has me thinking. I have ADD and astigmatism. So it'd be hard to keep focused on one spot. My brother told me that too xD. How they gave him a choice of a stress ball or a teddy bear haha (yes he's 25 lol).

That's another thing he's been dealing with too. Especially after sleeping. The crust around the inner part of the eye he's been having trouble with because you aren't allowed to rub or dig in your eyes. And yeah your eyes will only get better as they heal. I'm assuming you have the same effects he got from it too. The red spots in your eyes from the irritation? It kinda stuck with my brother for almost 5 days. Yeah everyone seems to have some better eyesight in one eye than the other.

XD yeah he told me they used something to tape his eyelids open. Craziest part to me. I asked him how long it took on each eye. He said about 3 minutes, but...then it made me wonder. How did he keep his eye for 3 minutes? His only answer..."trying to close it seemed to relax the eye. So by trying to and failing. It soothed the need to close his eye." That to me doesn't make any sense, but if it works then all the better. The cup thing is what took off that first layer on the eye he told me. Then he took it off and then made him look at the laser. Which he could barely manage to see after it was removed anyway. Due to all the blurriness, colors, and such. Good thing the laser doesn't fire with our technology today unless your eye is where it needs to be.

Still it's something I'm looking into and thinking about it only makes me want to get my eyesight repaired more and more.

No i got lasik. There was a chance that I’d have to get PRK but everything went fine so I didn’t have to go through with that. And if it’s any consolation I have ADHD and astigmatism in my left eye and it went just fine so I would worry too much.

UGH THE CRUST IS SO ANNOYING. I want to get it off my eyes but I can’t touch and it’s like AHHHH. Yep I have red spots in my right eye last I checked. That I don’t mind. Mainly just the irritation in my eyes. I’m going to get some clear glasses to wear to class the next couple of days so I can avoid rubbing my eyes and not have to wear sunglasses in class.

Maybe the “tape” is something they used on me and that it just didn’t feel like tape to me but nevertheless he’s right. And they gave me some medicine or something so my eyes didn’t water so it didn’t bother me much at all.

Yeah I’d say go for it
