What was the first gaming device you used? How about the first you owned?
I played my brother's Game Boy Color when I was younger. First system I owned was my DS Lite.

I played my friend's original Gameboy at school which was how I learned about Pokemon. The first console I owned was a purple Gameboy Color.
As a young kid, I also played my dad's old Colecovision. It had games like car racing, Qbert, Popeye and Donkey Kong.
Ye olde NES--logged a lot of hours on the Mario trilogy and the Zelda duology.
Everyone has a dream that fills their heart. A journey they must take. A destiny to fulfill. As close as your imagination exists a magical place, where wondrous creatures with incredible powers help make dreams come true. It's the world of Pokemon!!"
Ah, great topic!
My first was the original NES that came bundled with the Mario Bros & Duck Hunt game. Funny thing is I even still have it. I'm not too big into selling or trading in consoles.
The first system that I remember playing was the N64, but the first one that was bought just for me was the little pearl pink Gameboy SP. I still have both to this day.
PSOne! I loved me some Spyro and Crash Bandicoot.
The first system I remember ever playing was NES at my cousin's house when I was really small. We played Urban Champion (just recently put a name to it, I always remembered the screen like it was burned in my memory but for a long time did not know the title)
The first game console that I ever owned for myself (and mostly grew up with) was Super Nintendo.
