It's Sunday for me, last day of my holiday. It was the first break I had since last Christmas, so it was very nice!! Sad it's over, but I'm kind of looking forward to starting work again. I just got the news that my paper with the work I've been doing for the last 1.5 years was accepted for publication! So that is really good news and means I can start doing some new things this year, which should be fun!

Being exhausted and having so much of the country on fire/friends houses burning down isnt a great start, but I'm hoping it gets better when summer ends.
I'm soooooo ready for summer to be over.

Being exhausted and having so much of the country on fire/friends houses burning down isnt a great start, but I'm hoping it gets better when summer ends.
I'm soooooo ready for summer to be over.

The thing I love about summer is how light it is in the morning/evening, it makes the days seem much longer! But I really don't like the heat anymore, especially now that I ride my bike to work. Winter wasn't much fun for that either though. xD I hope you are safe from the fires! I don't know anyone in the effected areas but it looks very scary. :(

Whenever it's summer here I say the same thing. Summer here feels like it lasts forever and I absolutely hate it. It's just way too hot.

Sorry to hear about all the fire troubles over there. Hopefully the fires calm down there. If I had the money for it and finances I'd live somewhere it was cold for winter then move back to winter when time came. Try and stay safe with all those dangers though!

See the funny thing is I'm saying that exact thing about winter at the moment. I've started to do jogs with Kenzi and the cold air hurts my throat a lot.
