Yeah I heard Japan has even closed all public schools due to the virus. It's getting really freaky in parts of the world. Still that's awful. Hopefully you can still make a trip there soon. After this whole issue blows over

Yeah I was getting a bit worried about going. I didn't want to get stuck in quarantine if Australia decided to stop people coming in from Japan. This whole thing is pretty crazy!

Yeah getting stuck outside your own country for an indefinite time can be...scary nonetheless. Especially if you have nowhere to go. So hopefully something is done about this before it does get out of hand.

I was going to a conference in Japan, supposed to be leaving tomorrow, but they ended up cancelling it because of corona virus :(

Darn, that sucks... Better safe than sorry, though.

Yeah and it'll only escalate from here it seems. 6 total deaths here in the US from it now. Nearly 100 known cases

It's definitely going to escalate, but people need to remember that this isn't cause to panic. Just remember to watch your hands, cover your mouth and nose when you cough/sneeze, and just do normal sanitary protections.

Definitely please wash your hands though. Hand sanitizer doesn't work on viral infections like this one since it's an anti-bacterial, so please wash your hands folks.

Yeah I've seen videos from Japan actually now. There was this tweet that went viral (as a joke, not real) where they said all production on toilet paper was going to be out on halt due to the Coronavirus. Now Japan stores have toilet paper flying off the shelves. Even sanitary napkins and feminine care are being totally sold out there. Just a totally empty shelf. Yeah it's not cool someone would do that, but just goes to show what lengths people would go to.

Well the university just canceled all international trip so there goes the MUN trip I spent a SEMESTER planning so now I have to find another conference for us to go to and AHHHHH

That sucks Noble! Schools and unis here are cancelling international trips too.
@Chakramaster I heard people in Japan were going crazy over toilet paper. Now it's happening some places here too, shelves are empty. It's so dumb xD like sure people should buy enough so that they will be able to stay at home if they need to self isolate but not 1000 toilet paper rolls. People are buying up all the long life milk and canned food too. Will be interesting days ahead! @Bulbasaur yeah I think it was probably for the best after all... I was really looking forward to going to the Pokemon Centre and cafe though xD
