Yes, but specifically, Crayola Modeling Magic clay! And to be even more specific, my well-taken care of, almost, if not, a year old Crayola Modeling Magic clay. The special thing about that clay is that it generally takes a really long time to harden, even if you just toss it into the sunlight. But since mine is ancient, it takes a considerably shorter time to get averagely hard. It's currently glued shut in the box, but last I checked, it was solid, meaning it would retain its shape, but soft. This is a glorious thing to touch. No word on it now, but I can't imagine it being much harder now.
As for the process, it was pretty much making small beans and pinching or flattening them and cutting and smoothing. As for the paint, that's just some paint my sister had lying around.
