Lately I've been reading Wicked by Gregory Maguire...which is like a really depressing fantasy version of Jane Eyre that, having seen The Wizard of Oz a billion times as a child, I assume doesn't even get a happy ending. XD

Just finished The Special Ones by Em Bailey. It was pretty interesting! It's about a group of kids that are forced to live in this cultish house by a guy they don't even know and are like social media celebrities and stuff.

I read Minority Report by Phillip K **** and Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. Kafka stories are always kind of neurotic and unsettling, and this was probably the most unsettling story I've read so far. It was pretty short though, and interesting. Minority Report is a sci-fi story about people who can pre-emptively detect crimes and prevent them before they occur.

I've been reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Anyone have any thoughts on it?
I read this last year and thought it was amazing. More accurate and realistic than 1984 imo, also much better written. Soma was an interesting concept. Doors of Perception by Huxley was cool too if you're into that kind of stuff.
