Nice entries, guys. :3 Only a day or so left for this week, so make sure you get entries in soon! Though in saying "a day" I probably mean more like two days. xD

I will attempt an entry tomorrow when I've closed my contest. I had an idea and I want to make it a thing.

I'm not sure I'm too happy with it, but I wanted to at least get something in this week, so here.

    Fairy Meowth!

Edit: Now that I look at it more, it looks like a poor Meowth that got captured by Corey and forced to dress up as a fairy to please him. XD

And now, finally, I give you the scores of Week Three!

    Grading!
    Spoiler:

The concept of the cannons shooting fire from them instead of water is actually a pretty good idea, but there wasn’t much else that you changed aside from the colour. I do admire that you went through several stages though. :]

I’m sensing quite a politoed theme from this, and I like what you were going for. xD The yellow parts had outlines far too bright to be proper outline shades, but the rest was relatively cool. PUN INTENDED.

The concept was good, but you barely changed anything and the colouring was done quite poorly. A nice effort though.

Very smooth and rather flawless. The changes you made were both subtle and obvious, and contributed very well to your retype choice. Sort of looks a little too girly, although that’s commonly the theme with fairy types, which is a little bit of a disappointment. Nevertheless, an excellent sprite as always. And I agree with you about the shiny palette. xD

I think you could have done more with this, but what you have is really cool. I love the idea of a phantom tauros. The skull was done well and the shadowy parts on the legs are a good addition, but the overall structure remains fairly consistent with the regular sprite. Nicely done, but more work would have given you a higher score. x)

I quite like your gardevoir, but aside from a recolour and roughing up the dress, it’s a little plain. The holes were done very well and the sprite looks great, but a little more would have worked in your favour. I LOVE the colour palette though. :D

Very fair point about Corey. XD I love what you did here. It looks like really natural edits, and almost like it could be a meowth mega-evolution into a party fairy type. xD There’s just something off about the face, though. I know the Black and White sprite is like that by default, but there’s something off with the eyes; they aren’t shaped properly and the head isn’t oval enough. For me it’s those small details that let down the sprite, even though you did something pretty cool with it.

    WEEK FOUR:
For this week, your challenge shall be...

    -- Lineart Challenge!
This week, I want everyone to step up a little. This will take more time than previous weeks, probably, and here's why. You have to take a pokémon's outline, from any pre-existing official, in-game sprite, and erase everything inside it. You keep ONLY the outline of the sprite, and then create an entirely new sprite within those outlines. You have to be careful here, because you need to choose a pokémon with versatile outlines, otherwise you might get stuck with something that's too difficult to make into something else. In case you're wondering (Velocity), you cannot make an existing pokémon out of another pokémon's outlines. This is to prevent pokémon with common shapes from being used in other sprites' outlines, such as taking a plusle outline and making a minun within it. Not that that would work anyway, because you need to erase everything within the outlines. Only the very outer lines have to be intact and unaltered. I will be checking every outline to make sure that they are exactly the same as the sprite they were taken from. If they have been altered, then the entries will be either disqualified, or, if it's only one or two pixels, you will lose grading marks.

You may rotate the outlines in increments of 90 only. This is to avoid pixel distortion. This can be done in order to give you more anatomical options if you so desire.

    Tips:
    - Make anything within the lines, whether it's pokémon related or not. It can be a weird clock if you like. Make sure you colour and shade appropriately.
    - I'm looking for not only creative entries, but also well done entries. Take a look on Google for some sprite tutorials on how to shade if you're unsure, or even observe an object in real life to get a bit of an idea.

As an example, Shadow Tracker Max and I completed a sprite which originally had a bulbasaur outline:

    GOOD LUCK! 8D

Aw, thanks. c: It's my pleasure. It's funny since I gave less detail this time 'round than last time. xD I want you guys to see how I grade so you can get a good grasp of what I'm after, so I figure it helps. ^^ YES THEY DID REALLY WELL. 8D And everyone else as well!

Looking forward to entries this week. :3
