Do you think you have the chops to commentate at Pokemon Tournaments?  Do you want to be on screen at the events and streamed live to thousands of Pokemon fans? Then apply to be a commentator at the Pokemon US Nationals and World Championships!  The Pokemon Company International is looking for US Residents who will be able to travel to Indianapolis in July and Washington DC in August (Sorry international readers!) who can commentate on a match in Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, or a Pokemon TCG match.  They are holding an online audition that you can enter, as long as you’re 18 or older.  Auditions need to be videotaped and posted on YouTube, along with a email no later than April 21, 2014.

For more submission details, read after the break!

The full rules and details are listed below, courtesy of Pokemon Company International.  Remember, this is an audition, not a contest, so there’s not a guaranteed guest from the entries.

Auditions are open to US residents who are at least 18 years old and who can attend both the US National Championships, July 4-6 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the World Championships, August 15-17 in Washington, D.C.

To be considered, entrants must submit an audition video where they commentate solo or with a partner on a Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, or Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) match. The recorded video must then be posted to YouTube with the title “Play! Pokémon Commentary Audition: [YOUR NAME]”. Once the video is posted, entrants need to email [email protected] with the following information:

  • Email subject: Commentary Audition for [YOUR NAME]
