Maybe I’m just trolling with the lead picture, but this art review is not about Mega Lucario, but is about tribal Pokemon art.  Blackbutterfly006 is a artist based in Germany making tribal art.  The great thing about this art form is it’s focus on shapes and lines that make up the basic parts of the object you try to depict.  Above, Mega-Lucario is made up of black shapes, but when put together, the voids between the lines defines the object, and hence you see a mega-evolution.  Without the title, sometimes you need to rub your eyes to tell what it is.  Mindset is part of the game.  Try to guess the next picture!  Answers and more guesses are available after the break!

Pretty neat right?  You’ve probably seen art like this before. Hennas and tattoos have similar art.  Perhaps Harry will prefer this one, an evolution of his favorite Pokemon

Or maybe the hipster in your neighborhood will sport the Diglett on his forearm.  Corey, will you do it?

Lastly, I want to end this fun piece with all this amazing art with Jigglypuff.  The marker really makes my day
