Summer is here and Pokemon wants to help you celebrate by giving away Manaphy!
As part of the #Pokemon20 Celebration to celebrate Pokemon’s 20th anniversary, Pokemon trainers will finally be given the chance to add Manaphy to their collection! Manaphy will be distributed via Nintendo Network to download into their Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. This special Pokemon will be at level 100 and players will have until June 24, 2016 to pick it up.
Prior to this event, players had to play Pokémon Ranger to acquire an egg. This egg will eventually hatch a Manaphy for players to raise in their Pokemon Diamond and Pearl game. This event was over 10 years ago and almost impossible to do now. Manaphy was long overdue for a distribution.
Below are a few other ways from Pokemon to get more Manaphy ranging from the TCG to the anime.
Manaphy fans can also now get the Pokémon TCG: Mythical Pokémon Collection—Manaphy, which includes a special Manaphy promo card and a pin of the Mythical Pokémon. The limited time collection also contains two special Pokémon TCG: Generations booster packs. Pokémon toy collectors can get a Clip ’n’ Carry Poké Ball with two-inch Manaphy figure from TOMY International at participating Toys“R”Us stores while supplies last.
