That is because all the featured Pokemon for December’s Spotlight Hour have a chance to be Shiny!
Below are the Pokemon that will be in the spotlight for Spotlight Hour during the month of December along with their bonus.
- December 7th: Electabuzz* | 2× Transfer Candy
- December 14th: Magmar* | 2× XP for evolving Pokémon
- December 21th: Snover* | 2× Catch XP
- December 28th: Cubchoo* | 2× Catch Candy
*Indicates that Pokemon could be Shiny if you are lucky!
Two of these Spotlight Pokemon are really great if you are behind on some Special Research. I am especially talking about December 2020’s Special Research where you needed to capture 15 Electrabuzz and 15 Magmar. The Spotlight Hours on December 7th and December 14th will be your best chance to finally completing that Special Research.
