Catch the mythical hedgehog Pokémon in the Hisui region!
The latest special bonuses for Pokémon Legends: Arceus has been announced! If you have play records from Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!, or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! on your Nintendo Switch, you’ll be able to unlock some special features in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Catch the Mythical Pokémon Shaymin (Land Forme)
If you have play records from the Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield games, you’ll be able to take on a research request in Pokémon Legends: Arceus in which you’ll have a chance to add the Mythical Pokémon Shaymin (Land Forme) to your team. This research request will be available for you to accept in Jubilife Village after viewing the game’s end credits.
Details of this research request are not currently known at this time, but the inclusion of it is pretty significant, as this will be the first time Shaymin has been legally obtainable since 2018, and the first time outside of Japan and Korea since 2016. It also seems likely, given that the Land Forme is specified, that there will be some way to obtain Shaymin’s Sky Forme in the game as well. Given Shaymin’s implied role in the creation of Floaroma Town, it is entirely possible that the research request involves us witnessing Shaymin’s ability to turn ruined lands into fields of flowers. However, for now we can only theorize about what’s to come.
Shaymin Kimono Set
In addition to being able to catch the mythical hedgehog Pokémon, players with play records from the Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield games will also be able to claim the Shaymin Kimono Set. You can claim this in-game outfit by speaking to the clothier after joining the Galaxy Expedition Team. According to the Pokémon Legends: Arceus website, it will take approximately one hour of play time to reach the point where this option is available.
Get Pikachu- and Eevee-Themed Masks
Pokémon Sword and Shield are not the only games providing special bonuses to players of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. If you have play records from either the Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! game, you’ll be able to claim both the Pikachu Mask and the Eevee Mask in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. You can claim these masks by speaking to the clothier after joining the Galaxy Expedition Team. According to the Pokémon Legends: Arceus website, it will take approximately one hour of play time to reach the point where this option is available.
