I do tend to get mad at games if the CPU is being unfair or the boss is harder than I thought. Bravely Default was a primary offender--the red mage took me six months to fight on EASY mode!

Everyone has a dream that fills their heart. A journey they must take. A destiny to fulfill. As close as your imagination exists a magical place, where wondrous creatures with incredible powers help make dreams come true. It's the world of Pokemon!!"
Slightly related: on my previous computers whenever they would get old and slow down and lag, I used to get really, REALLY pissed. We ALSO had slow internet! :D So when something wouldn't load, I would bang the hell out of my desk.
That's the only thing I get physical about, though. Most of the time I don't get too dedicated when playing games, so I'll either quit and try again later or just keep trying. I've not played a game as of late that's frustrated me to my core, which is both good and bad. :P
But yeah, I can definitely relate! Especially to the "not having fun anymore but still trying because I want to beat this so bad" bit. TOO MANY TIMES.

We welcome rage of any kind!
I had a somewhat similar experience with an old phone of mine. It was starting to not work and would freeze over and over. And every time it did, I had to open up the cover, pull out the battery, and turn my phone back on. Did this for months. And sometimes it would happen so constantly I'd get mad to the point where I'd punch the phone. It was alrrady broken so it didn't get any worse. xP
Oh geez. Phone problems! Again, I can relate so well because I went through 3 HTC phones when I first started getting into smartphones. One was REALLY bad because at least twice a day it would completely freeze up and I'd have to do the same thing: take the battery out and restart it. Thank god it even HAD a removable battery, as that's no longer a thing. >_> Like, why the hell are they getting rid of removable batteries anyway? That's so stupid.

Our internet has a habit of randomly turning itself off half way through using it. It's normally when we're streaming video or playing online games, so it's probably a bandwidth issue. My boyfriend gets really angry when it happens because he gets kicked from games, although it doesn't irritate me that much. I just roll my eyes and do something else for a bit, especially at the moment when I'm only streaming lectures for my exams!!
Oh my god, I used to get such bad rage in games. I literally used to get so mad, there were multiple times I slammed my fist into my leg so hard I gave myself a bruise. Now I still get angry at games sometimes, but I've kinda calmed down a bit. The only time I get really angry now is when I'm doing bad but I know I should be doing better. Like, everything seems to be in my favor but I somehow manage to screw it up and lose anyway.
I don't really get angry at games. I never really play multiplayer/tense games though. xD If I get stuck somewhere and can't get past a boss or whatever, I just stop playing and come back to it later if I feel like it. My brother and I like to yell at our players when we play the NBA games, but it's really just for fun.
Depends on the game but I tend to rage more in puzzle oriented games than anything else(looking at you Ocarina of Time). Currently though, I'm raging at Pokemon Rumble World because it's becoming difficult to capture new pokemon and I finally got access to shaymin and now I must acquire a Shaymin, both forms, and RAAAAHAHAHAHAHHAH!!
Often, when playing any video game, I get into rages when something bad happens to me, especially if I'm trying to get through a level or battle and the same thing I'm trying over and over doesn't work for me. At times, it's gotten bad enough to the point where I want to take an axe or hammer and destroy my game system(s)!
THIS. On one of my older phones, I used to be able to swap out the default battery for a fresh one, which was really good when I didn't have a charger and the first battery died out (which happens a heck of a lot as we all know). Nope, not anymore.
As for gamer rage, I've never gotten to the point of damaging hardware. I think the most I've ever done was just angrily push the Power button and go do something else. And if a game got really bad, I would just cheat. I haven't ever cheated with an online game to the detriment of other players (I did use a Diablo II map hack once, but that actually helps considering everyone is on the same team). But in terms of older games, I would use Game Genie/Shark to mess with the game and kill the difficulty. Or I'd use cheat codes.
