I didn't even know there were different names for it until this thread.

I use the American way though. It's easier for me to cut things with my right hand and hold it in place with my left, or rather with the utensils in those hands. :P

When I was younger though, I used to use chopsticks and a fork when we'd go to hibachi grills every once in a while. I didn't really know how to use chopsticks, but they'd use the paper that the chopsticks came in and a rubber band to make it to where you could use them or they had these plastic things that they would put on the chopsticks; they basically made it to where it was like you were using the chopsticks properly. I'd have that in my right hand and the fork in my left though, and I'd eat with both. xD Now I know how to use chopsticks though, so I don't do it anymore.

But really, I'm no stranger to eating some foods that are meant to be eaten with a spoon with a fork instead and vice versa. We just use whatever we've got in the house. xD
