I gave it up around Hoenn days when there was May and Max. It kind of felt like they were recycling episode ideas, so I got lazy with watching it and eventually just stopped completely.

The only Poison types he's had are Weezing, Victreebel and Amoonguss. Jessie was more the Poison type. I believe this will be his first Water type though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Jessie has only had three as well? Arbok, seviper, and dustox.

Yick, same. I tried watching the X and Y anime but it was just painful. I felt like the anime had lost a lot of its charm. Possibly because the same guy wrote the first five seasons or something, right? Up until Master Quest (which was his last). When the voices changed, it was all too painful for me and I had to watch it subbed. But like I said, it was still painful so I stopped altogether. :P

Nope. Jessie actually seems to like ghost types just as much as poison. Mimikyu is her third ghost type currently.

It was actually pretty good in my opinion up until Black and White. That was just a disaster. It was like they tried to overcompensate for getting rid of Brock by making Cilan fit all the same tropes but then over exaggerating them. It was awful. To date that's the only series I haven't made an effort to actively follow. Though Alola will probably be the second because i really can't at college.

I thought X and Y actually did well in returning Ash to his Kanto roots. It wasn't perfect, but it did a lot of good. Ash even got his first kiss which was a nice touch! Plus for the first time in forever it felt like there was actual character development. BW didn't have any and even though Sinnoh had some it just felt like such a long time since then.

I like going for the orange and yellow properties, along with the railroads. Destroys everyone. XD No one likes to play Monopoly with me.

Also the anime died for me after Hoenn. Up until then it was alright.

I only watched up to where Pikachu learned the now iconic Iron Tail and stopped. Then tried watching Black and White which didn't last too long for me. I watched the league of X and Y, but nothing really outside that and the first 12episodes xD.

I haven't even started or tried Sun and Moon yet. It lost that "wow" factor to me since Hoenn

I've tried watching everything after, but the anime lost its appeal to me real fast. ;c It's so childish and lame these days. Pretty much EVERYONE has said they'd like a more "adult" anime, like the Black/White trailers and some of the shorts, but nothing has happened with any of those so far.
