So question is, Neo. Just how many of these CDs were someone's mixtape? Or at least how many have you found so far?

So far, five of them were someone's burned CD-R in the disc instead of the real thing. Seriously, I wouldn't bother with those. But I still have heaps of other CDs to go through.

Because having a messy desktop bugs me?

It bugs me too. I've seen people with SO MUCH JUNK on their desktop and I just celebrate inside as that mess isn't mine to deal with. But seriously, people need to learn how to use folders in My Documents, not splatter their desktop with a galaxy of icons, documents, and crap.

I'm pretty sure they are, but my dad wants me to save them and try them anyway. Ha ha no. I have a stack already set aside for him. If he wants to crack open Pandora's Box just for mystery songs that we're not even sure if they're good, that's fine, but not on any of my CD players and definitely not on my computer.

He's weird like that. I could see a movie, think it's awesome, and recommend it to him, but he won't even care. And yet the time a person we barely even know gave him a pirated version of The Spy movie as a phony loser prize for coming in last place in a dumb trivia game, he kept asking why I didn't want to watch that with him. -.-

Do you think people came around and grabbed the CDs out earlier and left the boxes to save room in their bag? xD It's also weird that some of them are just random writable discs. o_o I wouldn't put them in my computer either, but I didn't know they could wreck an actual CD player!

It's possible, but yeah, I would have been bummed if I spent the starting price of those only to find it was empty.

But yeah, I'm not crazy about the burned CDs. If someone was lame enough to put a burned CD in the case that was supposed to have the original CD and then have it get added to a rummage sale, I'm sure they did something else to it that's definitely not the actual music.

I could be wrong, but it's just not worth popping it in to find it's nothing but screaming, blasting audio noise, or other garbage.
