I would love to visit Australia at least once. It seems like a really cool place and feels like it has so many neat things going on. Plus lots of cool people. The weather being reversed is tricky to get used to, but it's kind of funny if you think about it.

I'm sure the rumors about all the crazy wildlife are exaggerated. Kind of like how the world thinks the US has everyone waltzing around with guns everywhere. You really only see them in very specific places.

Haha yeah, it's not that bad at all. Though I have come across a ridiculous number of spiders in the last 10 minutes, probably cos its really hot so they try and find shelter. First I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and almost stepped on a daddy long legs spider. I tried to pick it up with a coat hanger but it refused so I just pushed it away somewhere. Then there is a daddy long legs that's been living on the wall above my bed. I thought it was probably dead since it hasn't seemed to move for weeks... But I was going to bed just now and I noticed it had just hatched like 20 baby spiders! xD I might have left them if they weren't right above my bed... So I brushed them all into a container and chucked them outside. (I couldn't kill those poor babies on Christmas!) Then as I was closing my blinds I saw another daddy long legs under my window. But I was too lazy to do anything about that one xD

No, they're all true. You NEED to be prepared when you come here. Just like how all the gun rumours are true for the US.

For some reason I read that as "I saw another daddy long legs under my pillow" and I was like "...huh?" xD

OH MY GOD TWENTY BABIES. So cute. I pick up daddy long legs since they can't hurt. I just pinch a leg or two and take them outside. I see them aallllll the time and since I've picked them up so many times, I don't have any sort of aversion to them. They're harmless, like moths, I guess. I don't like killing moths. The only things I'll kill are mozzies (LITTLE MONSTERS) and flies (only sometimes). I usually take everything else outside, even cockroaches. xD They're kinda cute when you look past the slime.

I can deal with most types of spiders myself. Though I've had quite a few umm...experiences with them before xD. My great grandmother's house is pretty much been taken over by them. If I ever go back there with the family I'll have to take some pictures and show you all.

I think It would be pretty cool to go see Australia and meet some of you Aussies too! =D

Spiders are common in my house too. So much so that I don't have a fear of them anymore. Palmetto bugs though, they're evil.
