Yeah I prefer to veer away from religious discussions. I used to be Christian, and I hated seeing topics related to faith on Pe2k, because inevitably someone ended up being hurt and it was better to just avoid it all. xD

It is better to stay away yeah. In those kinds of talks, someone is always bound to get offended and it start a discussion or an arguement that could've been avoided. Even today I'm still a Christian. Though I don't take offense to talks about it easily. It just take being very cautious if you proceed with one and a sense as to not provoke anyone.

Also, got a second round interview in four hours!!!! For Aldi, which is a German supermarket chain. It's better than all the others IMO and they take really good care of their workers. I know someone who works there so I was able to find out about an opening through him. :D Plus he referred me, so if I get hired then he gets money, ahaha. But yeah, the group interview was two days ago and I'm already going back for a second interview! I'm soooo nervous even though I know I'll do well. I'm never nervous in my mind--just my body. My stomaaaach especially. It won't shut up! And am I the only one whose gums hurt when I'm nervous? xD

Don't you worry, Xanthe! Second interview calls, especially back so soon, are the best! It's usually a sign that you will get the job and the actual head store manager just wants to meet you. That's awesome Xanthe, good luck!! I've only heard good things about ALDI. They offer a lot of potential for promotion and stuff too, from what I've heard! (My little bro is interested in doing a graduate program with them in future).

Yay! Thank you! I did meet her briefly in the group interview (and omfg when we were doing introductions, MY PHONE WENT OFF because I was dumb and didn't put it on aeroplane mode because who the heck calls at 9:13am on a Saturday? XD) and I know she liked me which is great, haha. THERE WAS A SMALL MATHS TEST but thankfully it was easy. If any percentages would have been involved...ooh...death to me. But thankfully it wasn't that way. xD

Yes, it's inevitable I reckon! I'm pretty good at talking in front of groups but I still get nervous every time I do (which isn't often). I also had a really awesome interview in November for a clothes company which I unfortunately didn't get the job at, but he said to my face that if it was up to him, he'd hire me. xD But they had so many applicants and other people had experience where I did not... *sigh* Oh well. This job is more promising anyway. c:

Thank you! :D Yes, same. The guy who I know there is a store manager (soon to be applying for area manager) and he's been with them for almost eight years. I'm so keen to be a part of a major corporation (who actually cares about the environment more than, like, Coles and Woollies and those ones) because I know they'll look after me, unlike my previous cafe job. -_- And I also get guaranteed hours, unlike my previous two jobs (because I was a casual). They're really decent in that department--you know, the one where they treat people properly. xD And that's awesome! Maybe I can refer him when the time comes. ;) Ahaha.

My grandma loves ALDI and keeps telling me to work for them xD She thinks they're awesome cos they let their cashiers sit down haha! I always try and shop there. They have yummy Dutch food P: And they always have cool furniture and useful house things. You'd definitely be protected working for a big company as well! Hope you get it! :D you can refer me too if I can't get a science job in the next 6 months haha

I applied to a Smokey Bones a while ago and it was math in it. I guess they do it for problem solving skills or something. BUT SERIOUSLY, Y THO. I DONT LIKE MATH. I SUCK AT MATH. But their best Server cheated by having people help him with the math so i felt better.
