That just sucks. :C

I was hoping to save up for a 20% down payment on a house and then I lost my job, also. I still have stuff in savings, but it's rapidly draining.

So the job search still not had any luck lately? I know how that feels to see money just draining. It's not good to see it slowly go down in number. It's even harder to manage if you're alone. Luckily you aren't :). Sometimes finding a house is all about timing too.
