Ah, well don't stress too much about it as they said. He seems really understanding about the situation. Heck, getting an interview at all is a really good sign. It took me 3+ years before I got even one interview. Which, thanks to my dad pressing one of the managers (luckily the right one too) she helped me get right in for an interview.
Even now they're more understanding about things in the business than I thought. You know, the whole time I was in the hospital. I was worried about my job as well. Worried about after getting out of the hospital and the long recovery period too and how that would affect it long term. Every business is run differently, but they are really understanding when it comes to getting you in somewhere.
Same would go for a college. You show your initiative and how much you care about going the distance and advancing. Even if you were late for the interview. He was understanding to it. Explaining it to him is about the best you can do. If he understood then you're set. Just do the interview as you would normally and be yourself. I'm sure you'll be fine and you'll make it Noble! =D
