Not to mention that speedrunners have to become familiar with glitches and exploits in the game and how to best abuse them to shave off time. I've seen so many cases of this and it's just raw insanity to me.

I remember watching an Ori and the Blind Forest speedrun and I kept thinking to myself I could play that game for a trillion years and never be quite that fast and flawless with a game like that. If you don't have the memory, reaction time, and focus you need to speedrun games, you're busted and that's exactly where I'm at.
I used to think like that. I used to think it was impossible to get really good at Smash Bros Melee, torunament level or tech level, now I won't get a big head and say i am better than Mang0(the GOAT of the game) but i am better than i thought i could be.

It just takes practice. It may look utterly insane, but i believe you can do it Neo. Maybe not now, but someday i see you speedrunning to the top.
