Haha. I've come to like winter more now. I used to hate it. xD But now I don't like being too hot haha.

Yeah, I used to love summer when I was younger because (well for one, summer vacation) xD. Now though, it's way too hot, it rarely gets even cold in winter. Plus, you can just warm up easier than you can cool down.

Yeah I agree with you guys. I used to lover summer cos no school as well. Also summer here is Christmas which I also love!! But now I can't help but think it would be really cozy to have a cold Christmas xD It still gets pretty cold here (to me, but I'm always cold) during winter, but never snows or anything where I live.

Personally the only reason I used to prefer Summer was because in middle and high school I got (on average) two weeks for break. I say on average because in middle school the break amount changed every year:
1. 5th Grade- two weeks
2. 6th Grade- week and three days and a half (got out half day that Tuesday, got Wed, Thurs, Fri off)
3. 7th Grade- week and a day and a half (had a half day that Thursday, got Christmas Eve off, Christmas was on a Saturday, so was New Years)
4. 8th Grade- one week (Christmas was on a sunday that year and so was New Years so they just gave us a half day the preceding Friday and gave us a week off)
Why the drastic change? Because we got a new principal who thought the reason we did so poorly on Midterms was because the tests were before the break and that the break was too long. So the week right after the break ended (the first week of January), we had midterms. This actually applied to high school too except we got two weeks every year.

Now with college I get like a whole month and it's nice. Sure our summer is shorter than most colleges (still longer than what I'm used to) but I don't mind in the slightest! Why? Because with summer I have to be productive because it is three months, so I have to get a job or take a class, etc. Winter Break is when I really get to chill because you can't do anything super productive in a month according to my parents.

I'm always a winter kind of guy. Old username with literal "Frost" in the name aside, I feel like the cold is just motivation to put more layers on and get moving. It gives energy. When the summer comes, and the storms come in and knock the power out, and you're just stuck in your burning up house, you just want to find the coolest place in the house (It's your bathtub), curl up and not move an inch. Even then, you can only take off so many layers before you run out.

It's just something about Christmas that feels so....special too. The cool air, the Christmas themes, music, appearance around town. The cool air on top of it makes it all the more special to sit around a warm fire or drink warm cocoa. Something you love to do xD.

I'm sure it's quite the opposite for you in summer at the time. Maybe spending time at the beach, BBQs, and....cooling off? XD it's so reversed. But I guess we will always see the other as odd

The only thing I prefer about summer break is I love the heat. It always feels so nice out!

I prefer not to sweat my *** off, but that is just me, i have a hard time getting it back on when it sweats right off.
