I heard Philosophy is dreadful... which kinda' stinks because it seems appealing.
I had taken a philosophy class in high school. It sucked. I had a teacher that was all "it's not how you interpret it, it's how I interpret it!" Exams were also hell. All about memorizing obscure details from required reading books and less about concepts and philosophical rationales.
