Yeah I'd say wait until she gives the all clear.
Nice nice. Madder can't wait. Meanwhile I'm working on my Angel Regime database and it is turning out quite nicely despite the rocky start with formatting and such.
Yeah, I think this would be for the best. I haven't really had too much of an opportunity to really talk to her about it, but I know from the way she was talking, she definitely seemed so worn out from it all.
Well, I haven't done much, yet! The only thing I did was write up potential Stalker names on a Post-it while I was doing stuff at work. XD
The amount of detail in Stalkers was CRAZY. I can't imagine how many notes you guys must have had! x_x
Hope everyone is having a good day! I worked in the library helping students with assignments for 3 hours today and my throat hurts from talking so much. Probably because I'm usually really quiet. XD
I also started playing a game called Hyper Light Drifter but it's so hard, and I suck at games in general haha.
Yeah i also think work was wearing her out as well so don't think it was just you. She's just had a lot going on.
Well that's progress! Yeah I'm having fun with this database though. Getting into more nitty gritty details as I go on though.
And don't give up sarah you can do it!
I am going to dissect the signature and MO and type of each stalker and figure out if they're organized or disorganized killers and try to analyze possible motives and tHERE IS NOTHING ANYONE CAN STOP ME AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA
...
I mean
I'm so excited!

We have MOUNTAINS of notes. It's insane and seriously, it was just too much. We just can't so that again for everyone's sake. XD
And geez, that was seriously kind of you to spend that might time helping students. I don't know if I could do that kind of thing for that long. :P
I'll admit, both Stalkers RPG rounds were made while I was unemployed. I was actually able to cook up Round 1 relatively quickly, so I honestly don't think it's going to be as much of a wait and a strain this time around.
Hey, it's not crazy if it works!
I think I'm going to end up mainly as the sole developer on this one, though. I know Chakra said he wanted to help, but he's still undecided on what he wants to help with. Either that or he's waiting for me to assign something specific to him. I honestly don't know. XD
I haven't quite crossed that bridge yet, but thanks for the offer! Right now, I'm working on the map. Usually that comes first because map = worldbuilding and everything else needs to fit into it. It's mainly just a matter of laying out the streets and drawing boxes of various shapes around them to represent the buildings while leaving a few empty areas for possible parks, ponds, or things like that.
After that, I decide what each little box building on the map actually is, make sure there's a balance of residential, commercial, and possible industrial zones (as per what Sim City has taught me). While I do that, I also create the civilian list and decide where they live, where they work, and go on from there. The Stalkers I make separately and then once their MO and theme is made, blend them in with the rest of the civilians. Best way to do that is sometimes give them family members that live with them or coworkers that work with them. As you guys know, that's not always the case 100% of the time. Mixing it up keeps the players guessing.
Each Stalker has, as you probably figured out by now, a Route that leads to evidence that makes it relatively obvious who it is, although sometimes there's that final step or puzzle to get it. However, it's always possible that the players may nail the Stalker before they reach the end of the Route. That's totally fine. That hasn't quite happened yet, but the game can easily still go on even if this happens.
Overall, I find the best way to do these is work backwards. Start at the solution, and then branch out the steps needed to get to that. But yeah, that's essentially the basics of my process in a nutshell. There's obviously more to it than that, but those extras get tacked on later.
Sounds fun. Can't wait.
Meanwhile I'm bored at work. Save me. Please.
