I'm pretty sure that once you turn 18 you can just go get your license without ever taking the test. Or at least how it is in Michigan. I was 20 when I got mine and don't remember taking any test.

In South Carolina once you're seventeen you can automatically get your unrestricted but you still have to take the test.

I mean I got mine years after. Last year actually? Only had to take the test. So there's still a limit here, but they take years into account I guess.

I saw another car-related incident today. The preferred parking at the Renaissance Faire has a few large rocks in it, which is insane considering it's supposed to be preferred parking. Even the regular lot you don't need to pay extra for doesn't have those. One lady who was trying to drive out of the lot must not have seen the large rock and the CRUNCHING sound it made when it struck the car's undercarriage was definitely grizzly. I don't know exactly how much damage was done, but it couldn't have been good.

Seriously, though. In the process of making cars more fuel-efficient, they're now like paper cups and fold up like accordions on even just minor bumps and impacts. I'd rather pay more for gas more often and have a car that can at least withstand impacts better and more often.

I'll be fine. Just a case of morning nausea. It happens quite often for me actually. Throughout most of high school I'd wait to eat breakfast until second period because I was so nauseous. Now it's not so bad but it still surges.

I thought that way about crumpling cars too! But then I recently read about how they're designed that way on purpose because if they crumple they take the impact if you're hit hard so you're less likely to get hurt badly. So they're actually way safer even though it's counterintuitive. My car is a bit old and pretty solid which I always thought was good but apparently not haha. It would be nice if cars could take smaller impacts without getting wrecked but I guess it's one way or the other.
