Guys, what do Master Balls do? I have a feeling it tells you where they are somewhere, but I haven't seen it, so sorry if I'm asking a silly question. :(

So, I'm REALLY confused with the battle system now. Because in the practice round it didn't matter that ground was super effective against poison when i did it because I had the grass dual typing, but now we've switched to GCEA rules? And now I look and feel like a total freaking idiot because I didn't get approved. And I'm now gonna have to do a rebattle of shame because I apparently can't read or something.

That confused me too, but I guess we know better for next time.

The Master Ball is a key item for catching Articuno, alongside a Feather and a map to orange isles. We have the Ball and the Map, so we just need the feather now unless you really made a speedrun on the challenge.

@The Nonexistent Tazz I was thinking of evolving my Vulpix and Poliwag. Sound good or would you advice something else?

Our next gym leader is Misty, followed by Lt. Surge, then by Eirika, Koga, Sabrina, Blaine and Giovanni, if I recall correctly. We may also have to expect the E4, so Ice, Fighting, Ghost and basically Flying will also join the ranks, to say nothing of a potential encounter by Blue. I say go for the Vulpix and Poliwag Evolution.

I'd debate on what I need to evolve, but I'd need to have Pokemon to evolve first. Granted, I'm right about to fix that, but still.
I might need any number of Pokemon to win the battles in the near and far future... So the second list I'm accruing by running through the entire site will be quite large.

Ah, that makes sense. I'd gotten my hopes up thinking it'd allow us to catch a Pokémon of our choosing. Is the Feather a reward from a challenge we've already done, or from one that hasn't started yet? My memory gets pretty hazy when I'm off school. :3

Sandshrew was easy to find for me so that's probably your best bet. Or Geodude, but who likes Geodude? XD

I found Diglett but I'm pretty sure that's the extent of the ground types I've found. To be fair I didn't ever get to finish scouring the forums but you know.

Well... Worst case scenario, you MIGHT be able to simply out-power one or another. That's what I'm planning on.
