I haven't played this in a long while. I think early April was the last time I opened it.

Does it still take a long time to start up and crash often? That was the killer for me. If it was quick, stable, and didn't crash all the time, I'd probably still be playing it, but the whole take forever to start and then crash ten seconds into it was just too annoying to deal with. ._.

I check on it regularly, mainly for legendary raids. (Which are redundant now because it isn't actually popular enough to get large crowds together in one area to get the legendaries now without official events)
It takes a few seconds to log in and hardly ever crashes. When I went to a pokemon go event recently it crashed a lot but that is because thousands were connecting to the servers and there was a pokestop with a lure every 5 spaces. I think it is much more stable now and definitely worth a casual play, but I'm slowly losing interest in it again.

I think the idea of raids are cool, but it still needs other things. Trading with other players and battling wild Pokemon to build CP would be nice possibilities.

Just tried a Zapdos raid a few hours ago. In a group on Discord for my community and a Zapdos spawned at the church not even two houses down from me. We got a group of 7 and took out a 42k Zapdos. Beat it with seconds to spare. Only one of us caught it (and he caught it on his first ball). Sadly I didn't catch it. Haven't even caught one legendary yet.

Aww. I've battled 3 now and couldn't catch any D: Hoping to have another shot today(last chance!!!) It's so hard to get numbers for raids though. I wish they'd make another way to get them or require less people!

Try searching around your community. Someone set up a Discord chat for it and we have number of people posting about raids and getting groups together. Haha, there's even an "airdrop" section so people that can spawn somewhere can help if you give them a location xD. I'm hoping to try again soon.

Yeah I'm in a group for my university but it's still hard to get enough there haha. I don't think there are as many playing anymore here, unfortunately.

The other day it took about 8 of us and we barely beat it with less than 10 seconds left. Even then it's tough. I think only one person can catch it. Buuuuuuuuut there has been that glitch where if you wait then everyone could catch it possibly

Nah, everyone can catch it. It's just got a low catch rate (2% or so iirc). At least half the people at my raids usually catch it. I've just been unlucky xD

One time we had 9 people and couldn't beat it ;_; People aren't very good at selecting Pokemon to fight with!

Well there's that and some people might not be leveled enough. I'm only 23 so I'm not leveled like some might be. It easiest to run your BEST team and when you faint. Heal up ASAP then jump back in with whatever team it gives you (as long as you have at least one good in the list). That way you don't miss out as the DPS can stay relatively moderate. Less dps, the higher chance others will faint faster and less damage will be dealt to them. Meaning your chances of losing will be higher. So maintaining high dps is a strong key to victory
