Your personality online vs. real life.

My online personality is similar to my real life one, with the only differences being that I'm more outgoing because I know people here all have roughly similar interests to mine, and in real life I have a bit of a more dry sense of humour, mostly with the likes of sarcasm. The only reason I'm not as sarcastic is because sometimes people think I'm serious due to the fact that there's no easy way to see I'm being sarcastic unless it's like Reddit and I go /s.

But yeah, I'm basically the same person, only with a few adaptations. :D

I'd like to think I'm pretty similar! IRL I'm kinda quiet, and that translates to forums as lurking instead of posting. I'm a positive person and get easily excited, which is probably why I use so many exclamation marks. The main difference is that sometimes I'm accidentally a bit rude due to a condition I have, but online I can read back and change that.

To be honest, I'm pretty similar online and in person. In some ways I'm not, but in a lot of ways I am. One of the major differences between me online and in person is that online I curse basically constantly, while I almost never curse IRL. IRL I'm actually like, pretty shy and awkward, and I feel like that doesn't show so much online. Other than that though I'm not very different.

I am identical. 100%. xD I think I am, anyway. I try to be! I even type the same as how I talk. I mean, sometimes online it's easier to wait a moment to think before responding to something, which can result in better sentence formation or a more level-headed response. You can also proof read before posting stuff, which certainly helps. XD But other than that, I'm completely the same. Lol.

deffenetly a lot more unhinged offline, i mean i swear like a sailor and laugh at my own jokes, just generally being horrible. but i'm also shy, even if i try not to be i always end up holding back around strangers. but be my friend and you'll meet the REAL .. uh- me, i guess.
im also equally obsessed with volvos, but the reactions to it are so much better out in "the real world" :D

I'm pretty much the same. Of course, I swear LITERALLY every other word and exaggerate everything more irl, but my bubbly and vivacious personality transfers here! Like, when I'm not talking professionally (like in a VM or on chats) I use five billion exclamation points!!!!! I do that in Snapchat as well LOL. I also say "literally," "actually," and 'let me tell ya" a lot irl as well. "LIKE, ACTUALLY, I'M LITERALLY DYING."

I also say actually very dramatically, like "ACT-chu-a-leee" and it's usually followed by "uh." like u hear that and u kno im boutta spill some scalding tea

One thing I'm very prideful of is my personality. I think the way I talk is really great and humorously dramatic, and anytime I talk to girls they seem to really like me because of my mannerisms and and my pop culture-oriented vernacular. Of course, I can never be this dramatic online, but I try to be super bubbly all the time because I'm a very lively guy who loves socializing irl and here!!!! I literally belong in Sex and the City

I am pretty similar to how I am online these days. I am pretty reserved and quiet in general but I try to be friendly and polite. I've been told I'm intimidating because I don't say much so people feel silently judged, but really I'm just shy. XD I used to be a lot quieter in real life and I was terrified of a lot of the PE2K vets when I first joined the forum and when I was modded, I was too scared to ever post in the staff board. xD But I've gotten way better at talking to people in general, both online and off, which is a relief!!! I am still pretty bad at smalltalk on and offline though hahaha.

My online personality has both similarities and differences to my real life personality. Online I am slightly more quiet, responding only to what is said, whereas in real life I am very talktive, a little hyper and energtic. I am a peoples person both online and in real life (after all I do work in retail :P). I also am way more sarcastic in real life then online, as I am more careful when I allow my sense of humor online, since it can be taken the wrong way in text. In real life, you would be able to tell from my voice and facial expression that I an being sarcastic. That is one major difference to me in real life and online. I am also a bit stubborn on in real life and that does shine online at times as well

So yeah in real life I am both similar and different to how I am online. ;)
