Movies that would make great video games

All in the title. Any movies out there that you think could be translated into really great games?

I, for one, would love a video game based on Inception. The themes and reality-bending nature of that movie could open the way for some great game settings that would definitely be fun to play through.

Also, I know there's a Mad Max video game, and it was good for a little while as a single player experience, but I would love one that has multiplayer and has vehicle combat similar to the stuff in Fury Road.

Inception--what an interesting concept for a game that would be!

I think a Hunger Games video game could be executed well...if it was an online multiplayer game, you could create a character and have tournaments wherein you'd fight other players. Don't know what the single player would be like though.

Jurassic Park plz. I loved Operation Genesis for PS2 where you could make a park! I like those tycoon/simulator games. :D I wish they'd make an updated one with more dinos! I think they made a Jurassic World version for mobile or something but meh mobile games. xD

I remember Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo had Jurassic Park games, although those were based on the older movie, not Jurassic World.

They were both actually really good and very different from each other (usually games by the same name on different consoles were very alike). Both of them were pretty challenging (and the Super Nintendo one definitely required you to pay attention to what you were doing and where you were going), but still quite a bit of fun.

How about tv shows? Do these count?

If yes, I would love to see a video game or video games based on the old or new Knight Rider tv show. It sounds awesome!

I think the Matrix would make a pretty interesting video game. Since most of it takes place inside a computer, some fights might get pretty meta, and some enemies could possibly mess up the interface you use for fights to make things more interesting~

There were a few games based on that. Path of Neo was actually decent, but it's pretty dated by now and graphically hasn't aged well. There were a few neat things you could do to change plot outcomes though. For example, in the movie, Neo gets caught while trying to escape from the office building where he works at, but in the game, you could actually escape and it shows a whole new cutscene where Neo takes off with Trinity on her motorcycle. They also added a few things that don't happen in the movie at all.

I have a feeling The Matrix is one of those movies that may get remade somewhere down the line. It still gets plenty of references all the time even though the original movie is like 17 years old.
