    Trick or treat?
A Halloween promotion in Pokémon GO will be running from October 26th to November 1st. During this time, Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Zubat, Golbat, Drowzee, Meowth, Cubone and Hypno will be more prevalent in the game. Players will also receive twice as much candy as they usually do, both from catches and transfers to Professor Willow. Buddy Pokémon will earn candy in a quarter of the distance it normally takes as well.

This has been pretty awesome! Thanks to all the extra appearances and candies I managed to evolve a bunch of Pokemon that I had only seen a couple of before the event!

Plus I hatched a 10km egg info a Kabuto yesterday and got 62 candies for it!!!! Which meant immediate evolution! :D

This event is great! Double the candy is sooo helpful. Meowth, Cubone, and Gastly's increased rate has also led me to evolve them all fully in only a few days. I'd never even seen a Meowth or Cubone before, and only caught a few Gastly! I also hatched a 10km Jynx egg and got 64 candies!!! I thought my game glitched LOL. But I'm boutta run 49873496 miles to hatch eggs and get a ton of candies.
