Carrie Fisher Died

Found out just a few minutes ago. At the age of 60, she suffered a heart attack and passed away.

This really hits me harder than other celebrity deaths that have happened this year or last. I adore Star Wars and Princess Leia was amazing. Carrie was absolutely hilarious and never ceased to bring a smile to my face when I watched interviews of her. This year and last, she's really been in the media because of The Force Awakens, and thus she's been appearing on so many shows like Graham Norton and Ellen.

R.I.P., Carrie. This is so sad. The word lost a hilarious, talented, beautiful woman today.

I saw this on the news earlier and it's so disheartening. It makes me wonder since they're already working on episodes 8 and 9, how will they handle her death? Will they kill her off with Han? Or will they take a page from Fast and Furious and give her a more peaceful end?

Still so many legends have passed this year, it's quite saddening. I only wish I had been alive earlier to have truly enjoyed them rather than just picking up on their legacies.

It's so sad how so many well and respected idols. Idols especially for the younger kids today are passing away. It's really quite sad to see her and many of the others pass away like this. How ever they choose to handle her character in Star Wars now. I'm sure it'll be for the best. Just like how they handle Paul's character in Fast and Furious. Or maybe they'll kill her off since that tends to happen in Star Wars movies. Rest In Peace, Carrie. And may the force be with you.

It looks like 2016 may not have taken everyone yet either. Last I heard even Queen is in bad shape right now and might not last.

:C I've been sad the whole day. Such a tragedy. I really did love her so much. This snippet from Wikipedia really gets me though. xD

In her book, Wishful Drinking, Fisher wrote about her eventual obituary: "I want it reported that I drowned in moonlight, strangled by my own bra." Several obituaries and retrospectives featured the quote.

This is so sad! :( She was still so young. I just saw Rogue One yesterday, which made me wanna watch ep 4-6 again. Now I definitely have to! Rest in peace, Carrie!

This year has honestly been absolutely terrible for celebrities. So many have died and most not naturally either and it's such a shame. I have never been into Star Wars and only watched parts of the films so she hasn't really been much of my life, as many other celebrities haven't been because they were before my time, but I remember watching a few things with her in and I'm shocked she died. I heard about the heart attack but heard she was stable so was keeping my fingers crossed 2016 wouldn't take her as well but it leaves no one. Can 2016 stop with their Celeb Massacre please.

No way, That's terrible. I remember watching Halloweentown with her playing Aggie the grandmother. Hopefully she will pull through.
