New Global Mission! Use the Island Scan!

A Global Mission has been started and this time it is asking players to use the Island Scan feature!

“Find Pokémon Using Island Scan!” Global Mission has started and it is asking players to catch or defeat 1,000,000 Pokemon that are found using the Island Scan feature in Pokemon Sun and Moon.
Details for the mission can be found below:

Task: Use Island Scan to capture or defeat 1,000,000 Pokémon
Duration: December 27th 2016 04:00 UTC – January 9th 2017 23:59
Reward: 2,017 FC (Success), 217 FC (Failure) – If the game is tied to a Global Link account: 4,034 FC (Success), 434 FC (Failure)

The Island Scan is a new feature found in Pokemon Sun and Moon. It allows players to scan QR Codes to power up the Island Scan. Each QR Code has various point values but if you can charge up your Island Scan to 100 then it will be able to scan certain islands to find Pokemon that are not found in Alola. Some of these Pokemon include the Johto and Unova Starters.
This Global Mission has already started but players have until January 9th, 2017 to complete the mission. If you want more information on the mission or how to use the Island Scan feature then check out this post from Pokemon Global News.
Below are five special QR Codes that are worth 20 points each and will allow you to use the Island Scan more then once per day.

You can still do them without signing up to game sync, but I think it just warns you that it can't upload the results yet to the game sync profile. xD Idk. But anyway I've done some missions without signing up yet. Too lazy. XD
