I woke up... and I didn't want to wake up.
It had a title of something like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Tale of the Rogues. Something with the word "Rogue" in it.
Unlike other Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, the connection between the human world and the Pokémon World was a lot stronger and both were aware of each other, though they pretty much kept to themselves.
I'm pretty much minding my business in the beginning of the dream. Throughout this whole dream (at least while I'm a human), I'm wearing Pokémon onesies out in public areas (I think it was the Umbreon one if I'm not mistaken), which is funny, but no one really seems to bat an eye at it. And I go all over the place from parks, hotels, along roads, and stuff like that. No one thinks it's strange or weird. It's normal here. It's wonderful. XD
Well, apparently, to the Pokémon world, wearing a onesie like that is a telltale sign of a possible hero candidate. So I'm contacted by Cresselia and a white, female Keldeo who asks me if I'd be willing to help gather others like myself who would be willing to help on a mission in the Pokémon world. Now, unlike PMD games where the most you have is just a small team of Pokémon, here I was in charge of amassing an army. HOW FREAKING COOL IS THAT!? So I follow the telltale sign. Anyone who wears these Pokémon onesies gets recruited for the mission. And apparently, the Pokémon they wear a onesie of is the one they will become. After searching for many days, I find several hundreds of candidates. It ends of being such a band of misfits and rascals in what looks like a silly pajama party, but we actually take the mission seriously.
Before I decide to commit, I'm told by Cresselia to try other Pokémon onesies for a while to see what I feel most comfortable with. I try a Vaporeon one and a Mawile one (the Mawile was actually pretty impressive and had a huge jaw-thing), but I decide no, my heart is with Emolga. So they decide the commander of this army is me, and yes, they turn me into an Emolga. The transformation process was actually pretty cool.
Let me repeat that for everyone because this is important.
I get turned into an Emolga as a commander to lead a cool, ragtag army of former humans now Pokémon into a Pokémon world we were aware about, but had never seen before.
WORDS CANNOT EVER HOPE TO DESCRIBE THE LEVEL OF AWESOMENESS THERE IS IN THAT. C:
I don't think I've ever been an Emolga in a dream before, but as soon as that happened, I wanted to stamp and pound platinum A+++ all over this dream.
We begin our campaign and travel over many types of landscapes, but Cresselia realizes as we're adventuring, I'm fading. I'm waking up. She tries to keep the "spell" going for a bit longer and it actually works, but not for long enough. I eventually do wake up for real. I would have loved some kind of conclusion or closure to this EPIC DREAM, but I never got it. :C
The only thing I don't get...
No where in the dream did it mention what we were actually campaigning against. I don't recall any army of evil or darkness going on or what the actual threat was. Not like I CARE VERY MUCH considering the perks and benefits, but it just seems kind of weird to have this whole recruitment mission and then it doesn't even look like there's a problem to begin with. I mean MAYBE it was mentioned, but it's a detail I don't remember.
That was amazing. Just amazing. It ending prematurely the way it did was tragic, but I still smile because it happened rather than pout it was over.
