Pokemon Snap Coming to Wii U

Pokemon fans can finally play Pokemon Snap on their Wii U thanks to the Wii U Virtual Console. Starting on January 5th (today), Pokemon Snap will be available for purchase on the Virtual Console for $9.99.
Below is the description for Pokemon Snap:

Catching Pokémon is a snap!
Travel to Pokémon Island and meet Professor Oak to begin a safari to take the best possible photographs of 63 different Pokémon. The island has many types of climates and environments to explore, along with secret activities and hidden passages to discover. Some of the Pokémon can be a little shy and won’t pose for the camera unless you tease them with special items! After you’re done, submit one picture of each Pokémon to Professor Oak, and he’ll judge it based on size, pose, technique, and number of Pokémon captured. Start practicing if you want to snap the perfect shot!

Pokemon Snap is a long time favorite among Pokemon fans. It may never get a remake or sequel but now Pokemon fans new and old can play this fan favorite game.

I really wish they would too! Imagine them being able to do it now with the NX. Being able to play it almost like Go. Sharing and playing with friends. I mean the company has said back then it was special. cameras weren't so easily accessible and all, but now you got them everywhere. So that's why they don't make one. It's really annoying, but hopefully the NX is just what they needed to make it.

Anyway, I'm glad to see they're bring this one to the Wii U, but I really hope to see a new one soon.

Exactly my thoughts on the matter. I would think it would inspire people to want to take more pictures. I mean...we all share photos online nowadays anyway. Why not be able to do it in a Snap 2 and have features to share them with friends or online?

But yeah, if they made a new one for the Switch that would be the legit best thing ever. Also, hello? Tablet console! It pretty much just says "take pictures with me!" XD

It may sound like terrible blasphemy, but I've never played Pokemon Snap. :x I forget what other games were around at the time (I'm thinking Final Fantasy 7 here), but chances were good there was something else eating my time. But... I don't have a Wii-U either. XD Figures.

This, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this. This? This. And the things is, despite the self-licking of butt, people definitely still love dogs. Nintendo was always a major part of my childhood, but man, they've done dumb things back then and still do dumb things now (especially with them having a cease and desist witch-hunt for fan-made games and mods).

The low poly count gives a pretty solid clue about how old this game is compared to stuff today. And it's silly, because they could easily make a sequel using all the Pokemon there are now with shiny new graphics and have a better and much bigger game than before.
