Prerelease Promos Reveal! ‘Sun & Moon’!

The promos for the next TCG set have been revealed and they look great!

The promos cards that will be given out at the prereleases for Sun & Moon TCG set have been revealed to be Bruxish, Shiinotic, Passimian, and Oranguru. These four promos will be included in the upcoming TCG set but with a few changes. These changes includes alternative art and Black Star Promo numbering.
Shiinotic, Passimian, and Oranguru will be highly wanted cards due to their abilities and/or attacks.
Shiinotic has a unique ability that allows the player to search their deck for any Grass type Pokemon. This card could give a nice boost to Grass decks. Especially for those who plan to rapidly evolve by using Forest of Giant Plants.
Meanwhile, Passimian has an attack call Team Play which gets stronger for each Passimian on your bench. This card could provide an explosive early game attack if you can get all your Passimian out early. If you add Strong Energy and other Tools then this will be a powerful attack.
Lastly, Oranguru has an ability that allows the player to draw cards until they have three in their hand. This ability could be helpful for players who love to play their hand down to a low number and in need for a quick hand refresher for more resources.
Prereleases for ‘Sun & Moon’ take place the weekend of January 21st and 28th. The set will be release in stores on Friday, February 3rd.

It's times like these I wish my two-hundred-and-something Pokemon cards weren't stolen in primary school. xD I'd probably still be playing otherwise. Loving that Passimian art! Think that one's my favourite. c:

Yeah. D': Well I never really played the game much. XD BUT! I used to collect the cards. Lots and lots of cards. I even had this awesome case (that I used my own pocket money to buy) to keep them in and SOME FLIPPING ******* STOLE THEM ALL RIGHT FROM MY SCHOOL BAG DGAHFDGAKLSAJGDA. I obviously cried an ocean and didn't go back to it after that. xD

That sucks Gem! :( Someone stole a holo Gyarados from my binder in primary school. It belonged to my little brother so I felt awful. Because of that incident, Pokemon cards were banned from my school XD oops...

Also looking at these promos... I forgot Bruxish existed. Kind of wish it stayed that way o_o

I had a Delta Charmander stolen from me by a kid who I didn't like, and they blamed it on my best friend. :'(

As for these cards, the art on them looks amazing. Psychic Fangs looks like it's going to be an absurdly strong attack as well, so maybe Bruxish will become prominent. I don't know though, I'm not into the competitive aspect of the cards; I just like collecting them.

It's so weird. I still have 80% of my cards. In a way, I'd still like to be collecting the Pokemon cards, but that's money I could use on food or something xD. Maybe one day I'll indulge myself again.

@Lunar Latias That's awful that someone would do that. I hope you got your revenge on them xD

The attack could be useful if certain Pokemon do become powerful or if you are planning to counter Jolteon EX. Though the attack cost is too awkward if you are planning to outspeed Jolteon EX or anything. The attack power is nice but just awkward attack cost.

I do plan to hit some Prereleases and hoping to get Shiinotic or Passimian. Both are awesome cards from the looks of it. I am not too big on Oranguru but I can see how it can be worth something to some people.

It is a pretty bad attack cost, that's true. I suppose that's how it's balanced out; attaching energy to it whilst you have a decent Active Pokémon would be a killer, though, because once it's sent out it'd be a tough one to beat.

I love the art for Shiinotic and Passimian. Bruxish has great art too. In fact, I'm also quite a fan of the actual layout of the cards. I'm just disappointed with Oranguru's because I quite like it normally, but I'm not a huge fan of the art, and it's not a Psychic-type card. :(
