Pokemon Center unveils “Pikachu Around the World”

Some new merch is now available on the Pokémon Center website, including a globe-trotting set of new Pikachu plushes.The set, categorized as “Pikachu Around The World”,*consists of five special Pikachu plushes, dressed up in fashion from a certain country, for instance, there’s a Pikachu dressed as the Statue of Liberty, as a London Guard, and as you can see in the featured image, as a traditional kung fu artist.
Each plush is priced at $19.99, and is available for purchase here.

I still love how they're coming up with such amazing and adorable ideas. This time to make it seem more fit to the countries of the world. Something for everyone! Or at least mostly everyone.

I'm beginning to wonder what haven't they dressed pikachu up as?

I suppose having him go as other Nintendo characters like Link and Samus is still an option to explore. c:

I actually have a picture of Pikachu as Link I picked up at a con one year, so having official Mario-chu and Link-achu is not that far-fetched.

They should totally do that! I mean, it wouldn't be too hard for them to do something where you start with a basic Pikachu but then you decide the clothing it wears. And you can make that clothing you usually wear so it's like you've become a Pikachu. XD

Matter of fact, they should just hire you as a designer for them. Make the first one a special exclusive Pika Pair for us both =p. Bangs and all. Though we'd need clothes according to them with most designs now xD
