I never really use my desktop. I have a few icons on there for programs I use a lot, and that's it. I never actually open them from there though haha. I only save stuff to there if I'm gonna upload and delete it in a minute. xD If I need something I use the start menu, the taskbar or the icon tray thingo at the right hand side. Part of the reason I could never use Windows 8. It was so hard to do stuff without a start menu! :P
