I'm sorry for your loss, Sloane. I know what it's like to lose a life-long pet and it takes pieces out of you. But you and your family gave her love, gave her a good life, made her part of your family, and that's something so many dogs only wish they could have. The love she gave to you was the kind of love she got in return and it made her happy to be with you.

Don't cry because she's gone. Smile because she came into your life, gave you happiness, and that she is a part of your family and always will be.

Thanks. I will keep that in mind. It's just hard because it hasn't even been a year since my grandfather died and in that time I've lost he, my grandma, and now Savannah. It feels like a large chunk of my family is just missing from my life and the void in my heart has just gotten so big so quickly that it's hard to handle.
