I think we are in less need of Escorters than we are Diplomats (and push come to shove Laura can be an Escorter if she doesn't need to use Diplomacy), but with how few of us are left active, the honest truth is that we might as well consider Caagu's removal of those locks to be a multi-cycle process.

With that said, you should probably do the honors.

I agree with your first point, but not your second. With so few of us, we need to be as efficient as is possible - Rapport->Escort->That stupid door is open, and then my night cycles are free.


Let me see what the other Escorters think of all this. @Bulbasaur, @Chibi Altaria, @azura evley, @Shruikan, and Aurimas (since you've already been mentioned), thoughts?

Kames might be able to get a good rapport with Caagu, too, so I'll drop them a line. @Spiderc, thoughts?

Sorry for the late reply, wasn't able to get on earlier. Do we still need me to do an interview to get the initial rapport? I have no issues going that route if so, but if not then I'll probably pick up the Udipheign mission since we know that one should lead to Stalker info.

Provided this is the plan we're going with, you'll be escorting Caagu to (89c) Macanan Textile Manufacturing Floors 21-30, where Type Conductors: +Fire Type+, +Ground Type+ block the path to potential valuable info. Note, you will need to do this after Laura, or someone else, has used Diplomacy on Caagu, or it will fail (since we need to have a rapport or have the Pokemon be compliant). Gimme one second, though, because I have to check something - see below.

This should work, but I went over the logs and there was a trap in the area. Katzu isn't healthy enough to take damage from that trap, though, so I need to ask the Emolga and/or the Flareon if there's any way to know the trap's disarmed.

Sweet cripes, for some reason I thought I was looking at your health rather than your sanity!


This doesn't necessarily disqualify you, as nothing we've run into - including a literal dead-on Stalker confession - has cost more than two points of Sanity. So... it should be okay? Does anyone else want to weigh in on whether this is (or isn't, which is where I'm leaning) an unnecessary risk?

You're a bit worried that Nightlust has planted some kind of seed of evil in Katzu, but so far, you haven't detected any kind of inner Stalker presence on Katzu.

I wonder if being captured twice would cause more Mission Disclosure... it's definitely worth thinking about.
