Well, searching Nairek's apartment escalated quickly...

I don't have any proof, but to be honest something feels weird about Nairek being a stalker. I feel like it was too easy to track her down and find evidence against her. All the other stalker related things have been behind statues or shrines or something that need multiple keys, but for Nairek we just looked at a police record and searched her home. I don't know, maybe I'm over thinking it, and there's a philter lair locked away like all the other lairs, but I'm worried she's being framed.

No that can't be right. It was much more difficult last time. There's no way this isn't some sort of set up. Why would this have been left out in the open anyway? Unless she wrote it after the initial search. It just doesn't make sense.

I think if she's being framed, it's probably Dominique. The sheriff said himself they've had some rocky interactions in the past. Best to be suspicious of that as well.

It definitely seems suspicious. The mention of Mustle makes me wonder if he could be involved instead of Nairek... We should interview him... And if Nairek is released we should maybe Protect her? Since Pomalu said the suspects they release end up dying...

I would agree with all of you, but then I go back to Shadefetch. For a reminder: Shadefetch was Daz the Dragonite, who had farm, E-I-E-I-O, and on that farm there were two silos, E-I-E-I-O, and in those two silos were keys and locks that lead back into his house, E-I-E-I-O, and in that house, with the second key, we unlocked damning evidence of them being a Stalker. In other words, quite literally on its own, he was practically handed to us.

In other words, not every Stalker is the best. A reminder: Some are deliberately fighting back and leaving every hint they can to their identities in as many places as possible (as was Millie as Koax), or are just being deliberately lazy in that regard (Daz as Shadefetch?). Non was by far the hardest to piece together without the rather broken DNA samples we got (thank) because they got hold of someone in a stage of life wherein they may not have even known right from wrong to begin with, or were literally too innocent to realize the ramifications of their actions or figure Non as anyone but harmful-and so on. There were just a boatload of reasons, really. Even then, again referring to Shadefetch, it was noted that Daz's attitude shifted by a friend of his, became more angry at stuff and such. Not obvious for all of us, but such mood changes are very subtle hints.

Even so, still, it may not be Nairek, so much as potentially her husbando using some MCtech (Engaging TC-130, Mental Dis-loo-cator!), or Nairek may be being bullied into delivering the badstuff by someone else. This warrants Investigation, if you want to be dead sure. I'm fairly sure such an extensive action would include such details. A few cursory looks should deliver that information.

Also is it just me or does everyone except me have cool emotes. Curse my inability to do anything with images whatsoever, except the barest minimum!

As for Dominique... Well, not every crime in this city involves Stalkers. Plenty of bandits/gangs going on as well, as Minty informed us. Crime rate shot up. Of course, doesn't disqualify Dominique either way from being (a different) Stalker, as Dominique may have been fooled on the logic of 'oh, bad guys! Hey, this weirdo spirit thing is saying I could become a vengeful stalker of the night to beat these dudes, and he's totally rebelling against them! Yeah!' Or some-such. Post-deal they're different people (and insane). Either way, I doubt he's Philter.

IF you want my advice: If you want to confirm this nonsense, someone get the Vine Key and use it on the Vine lockbox immediately! It's probably got the real evidence.

I'm afraid I don't know what letter you're talking about. The closest thing I've gotten to a letter, in my recent memory, is the note Dominique gave me.


As for what's going on right now... Yeah, I definitely say we hold off on doing anything decisive at least until we've opened the Lockbox.

Speaking strictly from a meta perspective, Tazz is right - Philter might be our Shadefetch, given that they were the only Stalker that we got pretty much anything on right off the bat. I wouldn't be surprised if Philter was a "warm-up" Stalker and the rest were a lot more challenging.

Edit your post (if you haven't already) and use the Vine Key on the Vine Lockbox. It's very immediate in nature and we may need it.
@LKWayvern be-on hold for this. We may get an Exorcism target soon, though there are doubts about Nairek.

Hmm, I agree. It seems too convenient that we'd find a message like that so easily. It wasn't even hidden or anything. We'll need to look into Mustle tomorrow.

Anyway, that helmet looks cool! If it wasn't possibly cursed in some way, I'd ask to wear it.

Now I just need to figure out how to help. I suppose I could use my healing skills to help Sam recover from that trap... Is there anywhere that needs investigating ASAP?
