Is it just me, or does it feel like we're not getting anywhere?

I still feel overwhelmed by how many options we have to search and interview....

Yeahhhhh... Round 3 will probably be smaller because this took from the end of October until the beginning of February to set up.

It's fun to come up with this stuff but... it's quite a doozy of an effort. XD


Random searching and random interviewing still helps, though! You might come across something grizzly, but usually those are still important things! If you feel you don't have the leads you need quite yet, try searching anywhere. You might come across something that helps in some way or another.

Alright, as a heads up. As it's rather imperative we nail this down hard and fast, I'm going to Restrain Nairek to 100% ensure we have her as the actual Stalker so we can have someone Exorcise her in the night round-or protect her if she's innocent. I'm not entirely sure if this will end well.

Any questions I should ask in particular?

I'd ask her about her prior employment status, her relationship with Mustle, and her opinions on Rusco. That's in order of importance.

That's what I was gonna say! And I guess make it clear that we suspect her and if she doesn't tell us something to change our minds, she's pretty much dead :P


Also I saw this... RE Nairek and Dominque

They were once colleagues and Nairek was, in the end, dismissed for workplace bullying.

So Nairek did have a job after all, so that means the note could still be written by her.

The issue is, if she's actually the Stalker, (A) restraint means she gets to do nothing, and if we confirm it via showing her the Philter notes (and her subsequently freaking out over that), (b) we can instant-Exorcise her, which would leave some kind of weird and thus far unrevealed method of telepathy as the only way the information would get out-and considering the information in question was literally gained in her own house, I doubt it would reveal much. (Of course, we can simply refuse to reveal how we got the other note). I feel like I will be doing such, unless we're really against it. After all, she might feel repentant if she's going to just leave it out in the open.

I... was joking about showing her the Philter notes. It has some strategic legitimacy, but... well, you know what happened the last time some idiot (me) pulled a stunt like that.


That said, I'm not against it, but I would like to advise you to take one thing into consideration: this might be the sort of action that increases our second Doom Counter, which depends on Stalkers cottoning on to our operations. I'm not saying Bad Idea Do Not Do, but it's a risk to consider.


Anyone know what I could do this evening? I can always hold my action in reserve if I need to exorcise Nairek, and I'd prefer to avoid looking into potentially draining areas so I don't go Berserk if I get called upon for an exorcism.
