Let us cheerily assume (as it is altogether just more efficient) that if at all possible, they should be rescued the turn they are captured, if at all, and if that isn't, then the turn immediately thereafter as quite possibly the first action.
We are not waiting around letting those dudes get what they want out of poor, mentally compromised, totally insane Carly.
...Which is my cue that, if you don't have anywhere extensively important to search or do (anything that isn't doing the MacGuffin shuffle, or a very hot lead), that if one has rescue/escape, they probably should use it immediately to ensure Carly's safe return.
