that hurts deep you know. in the soul. the rain makes the paint fade and it's still dirty under and in the wheel wells, not to mention the wheels themselves. that's why cars rust.. i mean.. it's pretty bad for the car. best thing would be a hand wash, not a sponge, that scratches the paint, get a washing glove they sell em.. wherever they sell car stuff really get a bucket and rinse the glove often but dont rub it at the bottom, if you really wanna go nuts get 2 buckets and have one just for rinsing off get under the wheel wells and wax it. that way the rain runs off and keeps it clean instead of getting the road dust and stuff stuck on there which will over time fade the paint.
    uh.. yeah i like cars.
as for me, well i dont have one at the moment. and my old car was a pile to be honest. it was a retired taxi with 500.000km's on it so there wasnt really much hope for the paint in the first place, did spend a whole day trying to get some shine back in the paint tho and it looked pretty good in the rain.. at dark.. from a distance.. so i didnt bother cleaning it alredy had rot holes and all as for the interior it was really nice, WAS untill someone smacked my window and made off with my sterio, side mirrors and headrests. even ruined the very nice leather seats in the back by rubbing the glass in there. anyways i picked it for parts and sold them made a bit of a profit .. but man.. i liked that car. anyways yeah i keep my cars clean, inside and outside. unless it's an old beater. then it's fine the dirt and the mess only builds caracter with beaters.

I used to wash it a lot more when I bought it...but then I got lazy. xD Plus it's always dirty since I can't keep it in the garage, and the only spot free is out on the road, under the powerlines, so birds always poop on it. >:/ But I do clean those off. I wish I had the time and effort to wash my car that good. .o.

XDD Mujaffa you are so funny. I didn't know that though. o: I do wash with was (sometimes) so hopefully that helps mine... xD I sometimes also use two buckets.

YOU BOUGHT A CAR WITH 500,000KMs?! Oh my gosh! That's insane. And wow...someone broke in and stole all that stuff? -__- That's just freaking gross. People are nasty. Aww, well I hope you get a spanking new Volvo very soon. C:

@Chibi Altaria Saaaame. Maybe we should meet up and wash our cars together. XD

it cost me 830 bucks and after i got creative with a plier and the injectors and turned up the diesel pressure that wagon turned into a rocketship. i mean the turbo exploded a little bit after a month but with the sheer number of e class mercs in norway a new turbo set me back like 50 bucks and this time it held til the thing got broken into and all.
i will never ever get a spanking new car, no charm in new cars only computers and plastic. only problem i ever had with the merc(other than it being a total junker) is that it was too new. and this is a 2001 model. nah i like old cars. what i really want as a "new" is a pre 1990 volvo 740. i mean they made the 740 from i think 1984 to 1994 but the 1990 had a facelift to look like a 90's car instead of a 80's car.. so it just looked worse. in my very VERY VEEERYYY personal oppinion.
or if i where to get a newer 740 i'd like to frankenstein it up with a latemodel 940 front which is a lot better than the facelift 740 but still not as good as the old 740. oh and dont even get me started on the usa trim. i could kill for a 1985 740 turbo with the usa trim.. too bad they are rarer than unicorns.
