You arrive at the Sunspot Apartment Tower at night, and it seems most Pokémon who live here have gone to sleep and have turned out the lights, but there are still plenty of night owls that remain up even at these hours. You decide to continue the search around the middle floors, starting with Floor 11. After taking the elevator up, you then get to work.
As you soon realize, most of the apartments here seem pretty normal. Some are occupied while others are vacant at the moment. Those that do have something often have Pokémon that have stable and dependable jobs, but they're not rich by any means and have the general, typical possession like computers, holoscreen televisions, and decent typical home furniture. But things like expensive jewelry and the like are definitely not common here.
You observe this pattern continues through most of the apartments on these floors. When you get to the sixth floor, only two of the apartments on this level are occupied, one by a young male Houndoom and the other occupied by an elderly female Persian. Their apartments don't seem suspicious, but one vacant one across from the Houndoom's looks like it was used recently even though there's no official occupant in there.
You look around inside and at first, it seems like someone's been using it as a makeshift office. There are scribbled notes and papers in an illegible chicken-scratched rushed doctor's writing that are nearly impossible to read and decipher. You shift through the notes to realize there's something glowing in the dark here, which definitely gets your attention. When you dig it out, it seems to be a ring-shaped metallic object about the size and shape of a donut. The metal is unlike anything you've seen before and the artistic engravings on it definitely couldn't have been done by hand. They also depict incredible otherworldly scenes. Things like a city on a floating island and a castle in the clouds are just a few of the depictions, and the engravings are incredibly detailed.
Meanwhile, the metallic frame-like object feels comforting to touch and hold. It puts you in a state of ease, even though it seems to be only part of something else that looks like it was broken apart. There are groves and ridges on the inside where it seems other components belong.
You decide to take it with you.
Item [Celestial Compass Frame] has been added to the Team Inventory.
You continue your search through the rest of the floors, but you don't find anything out of the ordinary that raises any suspicions. Satisfied with your search, you head out of the building and back into the night streets.
