You arrive at the Valcon Glassworks factory at night when essentially the plant has shut down for the evening and all of the workers have gone home. When all the lights are off, it seems to blend in with the creepy abandoned industrial sector of the city, but at least the condition of the building doesn't make you feel like you're going to fall through the floor sometimes.
You direct your search toward the 11th through 20th floors, where it seems the plant does most of its cutting and packaging here in large workshop rooms with large, heavy equipment. As you can tell, the output produced by this plant has to be handled extremely carefully to prevent cracks and scratches. After the glass sheets are cut by lasers guided by computers, they're then wrapped in high-durability bubble wrap and prepared for shipping orders depending on the client and the referenced geographical location. This computer-aided distribution system seems to be pretty effective, but unfortunately, at this hour, you're not going to see it in action with the machines and computer system offline and nobody working here at the moment.
You find that after searching several floors, Valcon seems to have plenty of business and unlike some of the other bad business stories around, they continue to not only survive, but profit quite well. With the amount of shipments prepared and the amount of output produced, it definitely seems like they're busy here and there is no short supply of business.
When you get to the 18th floor, something strikes you as odd. There is one area here roped off for renovations, but it still seems like someone had been here recently. You find there were a few supplies like flooring material, a tool bag, and a high-tech welding iron knocked over and scattered about on the floor. Whoever bumped into them didn't put them back or clean up the mess they left behind, seeming to suggest they were in a hurry or simply didn't care about what happened. But one thing stands out among the mess. It seems a key was dropped and left behind by whoever came dashing though here. And the odd thing is that it doesn't look like some of keys you've seen that belong to the machines and doors.
At Valcon, they all use magnetic keycards, but this particular key seems to be a metal key that functions entirely on electric pulse signature sequences, looking almost like a card-shaped taser. You pick it up and there's a mark of "PKR4" in white stencil lettering. You're not sure what this means, but you decide to take the key with you anyway. You get the feeling it's definitely to something else not related to the plant...
Item [PKR4 Key] has been added to the Team Inventory.
You search through the remainder of the floors, but there doesn't seem to be anything else unusual that stands out. You decide to head back to base with what you have found.
