What's your current living situation? Are you living with family, friends, alone? Do you like your living situation? What could make it better?

I still live with my dad.

I would loooooovvve my own house, but urf, buying a house is such an expensive and complicated proposition. I don't think I could afford to continue living in New Jersey on my own, though. Real estate and real estate taxes are just way, way too high and the jobs certainly aren't paying no where near enough to keep up with it. I foresee a LOT of empty homes popping up around here when the older generations disappear and all that's left are just a lot of broke young people living paycheck to paycheck who never got the jobs they needed to afford these places.

Not to mention around my area, ALL the major corporations are moving out and are disappearing rapidly. Honeywell, Metlife, and Modelez all left very recently, and that's a lot of vacancies now.

I'd hate to say it, but if something happened to my dad, I'd SELL THE HOUSE AND RUN.

I live with my mum, little brother and dog. My little bro bought a house recently and when it's finished being built, he will be moving out (sometime next year). I'd like to have my own place but I get on really well with my mum and I like living in the area where her house is, so I feel it's silly to waste money renting somewhere on my own. House prices are crazy here but I'm still gonna try and get one once I have a full time job. I've saved enough for a deposit, at least, since I never really buy myself anything haha. But I would probably rent it out and stay living with my mum anyway. xD

I live with my parents and younger brother (he's 3). However, I'll finally be moving into my own apartment later this year in Southern California.

I jointly own a house with my partner, which we've lived in for a year now. It's just us two and our cat.

It's very nice to have our own property; once I'd finished university (summer 2014) with its cycle of rented accommodation/parents for the breaks, I lived with my parents for a few months, then a rented property in a city neither of us were from, then with my partner at her parents house for over a year before we finally got our own place. I'm very thankful to both of our parents for the incredibly cheap accommodation they provided us with, but I/we were at the point where we needed our own space to do our own things.

What could make it better? Simple. A hot-tub. #lifegoals
